Industrial wastewater treatment plant targets a sector-specific composition. A multi-barrier approach is utilized. This approach includes pre-treatment, primary, biological, and advanced treatment stages. As a result, the effluent becomes compliant with discharge limits.

Textile wastewater contains high salinity and refractory dye substances. The BOD/COD ratio is low (0.1-0.3). Therefore, biological treatment alone is insufficient. For color removal, ozonation, Fenton, or electrocoagulation is applied. The outlet ADMI value is kept below 280.
