Wastewater Characteristics of the Textile Industry

Textile wastewater contains high salinity and refractory dye substances. The BOD/COD ratio is low (0.1-0.3). Therefore, biological treatment alone is insufficient. For color removal, ozonation, Fenton, or electrocoagulation is applied. The outlet ADMI value is kept below 280.
