The wastewater from 28 textile companies within the Organized Industrial Zone significantly exceeded discharge limits for high color (3,500 Pt-Co) and KOİ (8,000 mg/L), posing a risk of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) violation.
A central treatment facility with a capacity of 12,000 m³/day, utilizing a combination of ozone + biological + GAC treatment, was designed and commissioned within 7 months. SCADA remote monitoring was integrated.
Color decreased by 95% to 150 Pt-Co, COD decreased by 94% to 480 mg/L. Discharge compliance was guaranteed for all members of the organized industrial zone, and the environmental impact assessment risk was eliminated.
The wastewater from yogurt and cheese production (high BOD 3,500 mg/L, oil-grease) was receiving a discharge penalty to the municipal sewer. The annual water consumption cost had reached 1.8M TL.
DAF + anaerobic UASB + MBR system has been established. The treated water is reused for CIP washing and outdoor area cleaning.
BOD removal of 98%, annual water recovery of 720K m³. Annual electricity savings of 240K TL with energy obtained from biogas.
